Meet our Teachers

Our teaching staff is highly qualified and they truly love being with children. The staff always keeps a positive attitude and works to the Glory of God's Holy name. Each teacher and staff member is required to have a background check before they begin working. We strive to stay within or above state guidelines. We keep a low teacher to student ratio throughout the day. Please if you at any time have any questions about our staff or for our staff please feel free to e-mail them. Thank-you for entrusting the care of your children in our center. We feel honored to have each and every student in our program.

Years of experience: 12

Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Lutheran Early Childhood Education from Concordia University with a concentration in Administration

About Cassandra: I have always know that I wanted to be a teacher, from the moment that I went to kindergarten. It wasn't until I went to college though, that I knew that I was interested in the administration aspect of child care and of teaching. I atteded Concordia University Wisconsin from August 2002-May of 2007. I took my first call to Troy, Missouri where I was the Lead Teacher and Director of a Preschool Program. It was through these experiences that I learned my true calling was Administration. I am blessed that the Lord has lead me to Elm Grove Lutheran Child Care Center and I look forward to serving His people, to serving you, with a glad heart.

Start Date: 1998

Years ofExpeirence: 11

Educational Background: 1982 graduate of Mt. Mary College: Bachelor of Arts degree in Office Administration, General Business; 1998 - WCTC Early Child Care I & II

About Su: I was a stay-at-home mother until 1997 and had to look for a job. I started working at Blessed Savior pre-school program, but there wasn't enough hours to help me financially. Luckily I was called in by our first director, Paula, to see if I would fit in at her child care. Over the years I have been able to multi-task and never got bored at the center. The best part for me is just being able to comfort and be with the young one's. They are the most fun and honest people I get to play with :) But intellectual conversation comes from all the friends I have made over the years at the church and daycare.
