Karen L. Friedrich

With great sorrow Elm Grove Lutheran
announces the sudden death of
5th Grade Homeroom & Literature Instructor,
Karen L. Friedrich.
Karen was born on January 8, 1953,
and has served at Elm Grove Lutheran School
for 17 academic years. Visitation will be
at Becker Ritter Funeral Home,
14075 W. North Ave, Brookfield, WI,
on Tuesday, July 29, 4:30-7:00 p.m.;
funeral service at Elm Grove Lutheran
on Wedesday, July 30, 10:30 a.m.;
funeral luncheon, immediately following
at 11:30 a.m. in the EGL Fellowship Hall;
and private interment, at Graceland Cemetery.
Our community grieves her loss but
also takes comfort in her strong faith and
the assurance of the resurrection and life eternal
for all of God's children.

Marriage by God's Design


A special short study occurs between
the two services on Sunday morning.
Entitled "Marriage by God's Design,"
the study consists of four DVD-based
discussions. Each session begins
at 9:15 a.m. and ends NLT 10:00 a.m.

Parental Choice Programs:

As part of the ministry of EGLC, our school is now participating in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program and the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program for the 2014-2015 academic year, focusing squarely on providing a Christ-centered education to all students.  Open application periods are April 1-20 and June 1-20.  Qualifying parents may complete the online application at www.dpi.wi.gov.
Please remember that, before your application can be completed, we must have income verification (2013 income tax forms) AND proof of residency. If you need additional assistance, contact us at 262-797-2970 and set up an appointment.
