On July 19, in the church nave, a special four-Sunday, intergenerational study begins. It is entitled Will I See My Dog in Heaven? What do you think: Will we see our dogs and cats in heaven? Does God’s plan for eternity include the created nonhuman world? This special four-week discussion will occur in the church nave (at 9:15-9:45 a.m., when there’s no Communion at 8 a.m.; at 9:30-10:00 a.m., when there is Communion at 8 a.m.). This study is intended for all ages. A paperback book (written by Franciscan Fr. Jack Wintz) will be available for purchase at $10 a copy. Parents / grandparents can read through the ten chapters with children, and all can come to participate in what will inevitably be a highly informative and provocative discussion.
