Ø How will an education from EGL prepare my child for high school and beyond? What if he/she will be attending a public high school?
Ø What are the advantages of sending my child to a Lutheran High School?
Ø How can I afford to send my child to a Lutheran High school? Is there financial aid available?
Ø How do former students feel about their EGL education?
The Details
Who: All parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and relatives are invited! This is open to EGL parents as well anyone interested in learning about the education EGL offers and the opportunities available at Lutheran High Schools. So spread the word!
When: Friday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m. (during the PTL Movie Night – supervision will be provided so parents can attend this meeting)
Where: EGL Music Center
Why: As children grow, parents are faced with very important decisions including which high school their child will attend. There are many considerations including: academics, athletics, fine arts, social, financial, and faith based education. We want to share how the education your child receives at EGL will prepare them for high school and beyond. We are assembling a panel of former EGL students to provide families with real accounts of the role EGL played in their lives. We hope to present a panel that represents EGL students that went on to both Lutheran High Schools and public high schools because EGL will prepare your child for either! Additionally, we have invited representatives from both Martin Luther and Milwaukee Lutheran to share the benefits of a faith based education as well as answer questions families may have.
