Mrs. Margrett's PK4 News for September 21-October 7, 2011

Jesus Time- We will learn about the birth of Moses and how he helped God's people cross the Red Sea.

Happily Ever After- We have completed our first unit.  You will be receiving a packet of materials as we finish each story in our Reading curriculum.  Our story for Unit 2 is "The Three Bears".

Our nursery rhyme for the month of October will be "The Itsy Bitsy Spider".

Social Studies- We will practice fire safety rules such as crawling out of smoky places and the use of stop, drop and roll.  Does your family have a safe meeting place outside of your home?

Fall Fund Raiser- Thank you to all w ho participated in our school's fund raiser.   Please remember to pick up your items in the Fellowship Hall after school on September 22.

Book Order- Orders are due on September 26.

Field Trip- We will be going to Godsell Farm on Wednesday, October 5.  Pelase return your permission slip as soon as possible.  Remember that our trip extends beyond our n ormal pick-up time.

Color Days- We will be reviewing the colors.  Please wear the color of the day if you can.  Refer to the classroom newsletter for colors and dates.

Teddy Bear Day- Please have your child bring a stuffed bear to school on Monday, September 26 for some special activities.
